Dr. Nathalie C. Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Lilavois undertakes an equally significant role as a devoted mother, wearing the title of “mom” with utmost pride. Alongside this role, she assumes an array of dynamic roles, serving as an author, captivating public speaker, celebrated wedding officiant, and the creative force behind TEDxDeerPark, where she takes on the pivotal role of curator and executive producer.

Dr. Lilavois’s remarkable journey includes her role as District Director of Elementary Curriculum for the Three Village Central School District, where she capably served for an impactful 19-year period. Within this tenure, she also held the mantle of principal for two of the district’s schools, showcasing her versatile leadership abilities. Furthermore, her dedication to service extends to her rank of Captain in the US Army Reserve, an experience that enriches her multifaceted perspective.

As an esteemed adjunct professor, Dr. Lilavois has shaped the educational journey of countless individuals through her instruction at renowned institutions such as Hofstra University, Queens College, York College, and Dowling College. Her educational accomplishments include a B.A. in elementary education and psychology from Hofstra University, a Master’s degree in developmental psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a doctorate in literacy studies from Hofstra University.

Dr. Lilavois is not only a beacon of professional achievement but also a passionate advocate for women, people of color, and youth, actively participating in non-profit organizations that mirror her dedication to these causes. Amid her commitments, she finds solace in the serene beauty of the beach, the nourishing world of books, and the cherished moments spent with her daughter, Brianna, and her beloved furry companion, Piper.

Dr. Nathalie C. Lilavois is an educational consultant who provides workshops, presentations, webinars and 1:1 coaching/mentoring to districts and organizations. Dr. Lilavois has been an educator for thirty-four years as a teacher, principal, and district administrator.

In addition to her top job as a mom, Dr. Lilavois is an author, public speaker, wedding officiant, and curator/executive producer of TEDxDeerPark. Dr. Lilavois retired from her position as District Director of Elementary Curriculum for the Three Village Central School District where she also served as principal to two of their schools during her 19-year tenure. She is a veteran of the US Army Reserve with the rank of Captain. As an adjunct professor, she has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses at Hofstra University, Queens College, York College, and Dowling College.
